Patrons frequently highlight the friendly, attentive staff and a lively atmosphere, especially during weekend live music events. The menu offers a diverse selection, ranging from unique options like kangaroo and elk burgers to classic bar fare, though some guests find the food quality inconsistent relative to pricing. Drink service is generally praised for being prompt and welcoming, despite a somewhat limited beer selection. Overall, Kelus is regarded as a charming neighborhood spot ideal for drinks and socializing, with the picturesque location and congenial staff often cited as key strengths.
My first visit to Kelus certainly won’t be my last! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive; Deja and Jess rocked the bar this Friday night. The ambience: think dive meets dockside, with live music on the weekends. A really cool vibe. The menu is eclectic but balanced: kangaroo and elk burger options for the adventurous pallet, wings and mozz sticks for the traditional bar fare, and everything in between. I can’t wait to come back and watch this place develop into a staple of Southwest Jersey. Cheers!
We stopped by for a quick beer and to see the view. The beer is good, and the service is superb. Dana is friendly and prompt. It's hard to come by a good bartender, but she made us feel more than welcomed. We had the crab artichoke dip. It is fresh and tasty. They have great special and the view is peaceful.
That was by far the most expensive Angus hamburger I've ever come across it was literally $20. And I hate to say it but I think Wawa's was better. The ladies were on point they were quick with the drinks definitely a cool place and a very nice atmosphere. But I would suggest eating somewhere else. I'd go back for drinks
I just found out about this place, so I went to check it out. I've been there twice so far. The location makes it special for me. Everyone is friendly, and it's a nice neighborhood bar right on the river with great views. Limited beer options, but not a big deal; there seem to be lots of nice specials too. I want to love this place, but the food holds me back. The menu sounds great, but either the execution or the recipes are disappointing, always too dry, and overpriced.
Just a great neighborhood bar, friendly people, live music and good food and prices that don't make you feel like you need to call the SVU unit when you get the bill. Great view of the Delaware River and a boat dock if you find yourself boating on the river to boot.
Sundays very quiet great food great people haven’t have had a bad day at this place
True Jersey dive bar on the river with great views of the city and airport. Good food and good service.
Really nice place, feels friendly a little bit off the beaten path, but worth the trip. Most of the bartenders are excellent!
